Behind Blue Eyes

I'm Molly. I have no idea what to say about myself to seem cool and smart and interesting. I'm just me. I write, I act, I sing in the shower, I complain, I fall down, I fall in love, I fall apart, I pick up the pieces, I smile, I draw, I laugh, I eat, I sleep. And above all, I believe in fairytales and songs that make you feel infinite. I believe in reading with your cat on a rainy day. I believe that one cup of tea is never enough. I believe in holding hands. I believe in living, while most people simply exist.

You know what? I don’t regret it.

Am I a little bit disappointed? Yes.

Should I have probably thought about what I was doing before I did it? Yes.

Do I regret it? No.

Because at least I’m not afraid to put myself out there. I might get hurt occasionally, but if you never get hurt that just means you’re not trying hard enough. Life’s too short to hang out in the shallow end.
